MALIBAL is a homophone of one of the alternate pronunciations of malleable (ma-lə-bəl) and shares a similar meaning. MALIBAL is an acronym for Modular Adaptable Long-lasting Innovations for Business And Leisure. The name and acronym were coined by MALIBAL’s founder Matthew H. Plott whose original vision for the company was to create highly customizable products that could be easily configured and adapted to each user’s needs and were designed to be user-upgradeable, user-serviceable, and last a lifetime.
