You want to have a Linux workstation with 64 Cores? But it should be RISC-V based? Ok that's possible. A little pricey at 1999US$ but it got AMD graphics and RAM.

Based on the Alibaba/T-Head C920 core (which is the C910 with Vector unit)

Should be a interesting developer system.

If you want to buy it find the crowd funding here:

Wow, i never thought to post a Facebook link, but here we goo:

They introduced MTIA which is their own AI accelerator which is manufactured in TSMC 7nm and clocked at 800MHz and has 64 PE (Processing Elements) inside.

The interesting part is each PE include 2 Processors, one based on the Vector extension and both based on RISC-V.

It is optimized for pyTorch and comes with a full SW stack and with less than 25W per chip, having 2 chips on a PCIe board and a few of them in one Server.

As many big companies using RISC-V but don't talk about it yet, it's cool to see this announcement. I'm looking forward to get more detailed information:

Laptop with RISC-V, this time for preorder, starting at 159USD with 4GB RAM and 64GB MMC.

Inside is the JH7110 from Starfire, a 4Core SoC with SiFives 1.5 GHz SiFive FU740 64-bit RISC-V processor cores, Imagination BXE-4-32 graphics, and an embedded 32-bit RISC-V E24 CPU core.

It's clearly a developer laptop, but a cool device powered by RISC-V.

A RISC-V based Raspberry pi format board by Asus, featuring the Rebesas RZ/Five which uses Andes AX45MP, a 8-stage dual issue, super scalar core

Asus will make pricing for the board available in Q2,2023.

TinyPilot: Raspberry Pi KVM over IP Solution Review.

In remote server management, the KVM over IP solution has always been a go-to for professionals worldwide. Among these solutions, the TinyPilot Voyager has been making waves due to its compact design, high performance, and value for money. This blog post will overview the TinyPilot Voyager 2a, a Raspberry Pi 4-based KVM over IP device, and why it might fit your professional environment or home lab perfectly. Michael Lynch, the founder of TinyPilot, was kind enough to send me a sample unit to play around with, and this post is a result of my thoughts and impressions of working with the unit.

Specifications and Requirements

The TinyPilot Voyager features a Toshiba T358743 HDMI capture chip, a Quad-core 1.5GHz ARM CPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. It supports active Power over Ethernet (PoE) and has an ultra-quiet 13,200 RPM fan. The device comes with the TinyPilot Pro software, a USB-C power plug, a USB-C to USB-A cable, detailed documentation, and quick start instructions.

To use the TinyPilot Voyager with your server, you’ll need a display output port on your server, a USB port, an HDMI cable, and an Ethernet cable.

Orange Pi Zero 3 is a cheap, tiny single-board PC with up to 4GB RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, and Allwinner H618.

The Orange Pi Zero 3 is a single-board computer that measures 55 x 50mm (2.2″ x 2″), but which is a versatile little device capable of running a range of operating systems including Android 12, Debian 12, and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

At first glance, the little computer board looks a lot like the three-year-old Orange Pi Zero 2, but the new model has an updated design, a slightly smaller body, and a newer processor (with nearly identical performance). It also supports up to four times more memory. The Orange Pi Zero 3 is available now from AliExpress and Amazon, with prices ranging from $15 to $29.
